Im ersten Spiel stand Alex Seidl<\/strong> am Mound, der zwar mit einem Walk startete, jedoch im weiteren Spielverlauf kaum etwas anbrennen lie\u00df. Hinter ihm stand eine solide Offense, die immer wieder Runs anschreiben konnte. Die Innings der Cubs Defense gestalteten sich sehr eint\u00f6nig und es kam zu keinem einzigen Hit der Grasshoppers. Somit blieb das Spiel ein sogenannter „no-hitter“ und endete bereits im 5. Inning mit 10:0 (Mercy Rule) f\u00fcr die Cubs. <\/p>\n Das zweite Spiel startete noch eindeutiger f\u00fcr die Cubs, die bereits im ersten Inning einige Runs scoren konnten. Das relativ schwache Pitching der Grasshoppers wurde von den starken Schlagm\u00e4nnern der Cubs gekonnt ausgenutzt und immer wieder L\u00e4ufer heim gebracht. Auf dem Mound brillierte Michael Schneider<\/strong>, der ebenfalls kaum gef\u00e4hrliche Situationen zulie\u00df.
